Narrative Of Post-Labour Society
Promise of the Future spekuliert über die Auswirkungen der Automatisierung der Arbeit und die Einführung eines bedingungslosen Grundeinkommens. Am Donaukanal in Wien entsteht ein Konglomerat aus Plattformen, Wegen, Plätzen und Orten im Freien und in Innenräumen. Durch das bestehende Stadtgefüge webt sich eine öffentliche Zone, welche zum Experimentieren mit unseren kreativen und sozialen Fähigkeiten auffordert. Ein Testfeld, in der Periode der Transformation, hin zu einer post-labour-society.

Up Down All Around
The focus of this project is on housing with and without children. A steel frame construction stretches over the entire property in the inner city area of Graz. The development is analogous to the changing spatial requirements due to the life cycles of families and can grow and shrink. As a result, new open spaces, communication and meeting zones are created again and again.

Porous City – Fabbrica Diffusa Vienna
The Porous-City is a hybrid zone of habitation, production and public space. All functions are mixed horizontally and vertically and are organized in spatial clusters that benefit from common shared infrastructures. 

Common Ground
Around the concept of the commons a new and challenging field of thought has emerged in the areas of economics, politics and social sciences, which proposes radically different ways of organising our societies. In today's architectural practice, important experiments are taking place that can be understood as practices of commoning. 

Wunderkammer
The island of Poveglia in Italy is becoming a landscape of learning and teaching, of exchange and archiving. The university extends across the entire island and becomes a huge chamber of curiosities - a database full of constantly changing information, concepts and objects.

The Studio
The initiative for The Studio arose out of the study of Learning Architecture - Architecture about Learning at the Institute for Art and Architecture (IKA). Based on the experiences of the Studio Ambiguous Environments, we have designed a form of open and self-determined teaching in terms of content and programme and tested it as a real laboratory in the summer term 2016.

Ambiguous Environments - Exhibition
Learning Architecture - Architecture of Learning was the annual theme of the IKA 2015/16.
The Studio 205, consisting of 15 people, tested itself in a self-experiment. The result was a laboratory and a discussion platform that raised questions of authorship, free teaching and the death of architecture and tried to answer them through cooperative and individual design. 
A bar (Akbar), a blog, a collective performance in 4 acts, and an exhibition were created.

 

Everted Traces
The terrain must be deformed, dug up and transformed. Through the process of decontaminating the landscape, a spatialization is created - a manifestation of the traces left behind by the factory.
